RNA Quality Check

We will analyze the quality of an RNA sample submitted to using the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer. The analysis allows us to estimate the integrity of the RNA based upon the presence and ratios of the intensity of the ribosomal RNA species. This is mandatory before we consider a sample for microarray analysis, and recommended prior to RT PCR.

We will analyze the quality of an RNA sample submitted to us using the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer. Because of the costs involved in amplifying, labeling, and hybridizing microarray chips, this is MANDATORY before we consider a sample for microarray analysis. RNA integrity check is recommended prior to RT PCR.
